Moilliet, Smith & Pearson
1766 – 1866
A bank in Birmingham.
The Geneva banker and importer/exporter Jean-Louis Moilliet was one of the owners of the bank Moilliet, Smith & Pearson. His sons James and Theodore later became partners, and the bank was renamed John Lewis and Sons. The bank was bought up in 1866 by Lloyds Bank, which is still in existence.
